at DANK Haus German American Cultural Center

Our Kulturküche event series gives us a chance to share the delights of German cuisine.

We invite local German American chefs to teach participants a German culinary treat. Whether it's the trick to a perfect strudel or how to balance different meats to stuff your own sausage, there is something for everyone to bring them back to their Oma or Opa's kitchen. Class fee includes demonstration, recipes, one drink, and of course, tasting!

    Join us for our September Kulturküche German Inspired Cooking Class. We will be learning first hand from Chef Peter Andros, also known as the Sausage König, how to hand craft Blaue Zipfel from scratch.

    You’ll put your knife and sausage grinding skills to good use as you prepare, encase, and cook this delicious dish! Steaming with onions, your friends and family will love this lovely addition to your cooking repertoire!

    Most DANK Haus events are free of charge, but in some cases an admission fee is published in the hopes of being able to pay high costs involved in hosting particular events. If our published admission fee is too high for your ability to pay, please contact us to arrange a way for you to attend the event that you are interested in.
