 | MONICA JIRAKExecutive DirectorAs a lifelong resident of the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood community, Monica has been dedicated to preserving and maintaining German American culture. She served a three-year term on the DANK Haus Board of Directors where she chaired the programming committee which is responsible for all the events at the DANK Haus. She organized new events and strengthened partnerships with the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce. Monica expanded the presence of the DANK Haus by participating in Apple Fest and Small Business Saturday. Monica holds a Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and worked previously in the public sector for nine years. As Executive Director, Monica is fully responsible for overall operations and strategic growth. Mission-critical initiatives include staff management and performance, education and cultural programs, event planning and hall rentals, accounting and back office, business development, marketing and fundraising, and ultimate execution of mission.
