Class Description: This Rolling Intermediate Class aims to further expand your knowledge of German while focusing on strengthening your confidence in the use of German in structured learning opportunities.  Our communicative approach of language learning reinforces grammar and vocabulary to practice speaking German in complex situations and settings with our German native speaking teachers and your classroom community.

This is a mixed intermediate class in which more advanced intermediate speakers are combined with students who are new to the intermediate level. We are rolling through four different instruction materials (one each semester), so that you can stay in this level repeatedly without encountering the same material.

Class Structure: Students will have the opportunity to talk to their teacher and their classmates in 90 minute online sessions and practice their German in break-out rooms. In addition, students will receive assignments from their teacher.

Online Meeting Times: Wednesdays 6:30PM - 8PM CST

PrerequisitesThis class is tailored to students who are currently enrolled in Elementary IV (or have achieved the equivalent of CEFR level B1+). Please take our placement test to see if this class is right for you.

Materials: We will use Kontext B1.1+ for this class, order your Material today (click on Intermediate to order your book, see optional material at the bottom of page for helpful practice material)!

Minimum Enrollment: 6 Students. Should we pass class limit size, students may be divided into two new groups based on language proficiency.

On this level you can also join our Next Level German classes to improve your German outside the textbook. You can join
