Class Description: Are you ready to come back to the Haus and practice your German with your fellow students in-person? In this Conversation class you will review speaking German in various settings and reinforce grammar and vocabulary that you have already learned. The goal for students is to obtain more confidence in speaking freely, and students will have the opportunity to do so in dialogues, group settings, and small presentations.

Additionally, this class will cover various German related topics outside the textbook, and will therefore enlarge the students' knowledge about not only the language but also the German speaking countries..

Class Structure: Students will have the opportunity to practice their skills with their teacher and classmates during the 2:15h long class. In addition, students may receive assignments from their teacher.

Meeting Times: Tuesdays, 6:30-8:45pm. In-person at the DANK.

PrerequisitesThis class is tailored to students who are have finished Beginner IV, or are currently in Intermediate (or the equivalent of CEFR level B1 and B2).

Materials: We will use authentic materials from a variety of sources. You may be asked to purchase some material, but most resources will be made available through the teacher. We will reach out to you with more information before class starts.

Covid-19: We are conducting in-person classes in accordance with CDC and IDHP guidelines, and classes may revert to Online Teaching if needed. There will be only one adult language class in the Haus on class night.

Minimum Enrollment: 6 Students
