Although Matt is new to the DANK Haus team, he is a familiar face due to his involvement in the Chicago German American Community including being a current key volunteer and a former executive board member at the DANK as well as a member of the Brandenburg Schützenverein, the Niedersachsen Club and the Royal Blue Tornado FC Schalke Fan Club.

Matt has over 20 years of experience in international banking and foreign exchange sales & trading working at financial institutions including First Chicago, JPMorgan, 5/3 BANK and MB Financial. Academically, Matt’s undergraduate degree is from Augustana College, with degrees in international business and German. Matt also has an MBA from the University of Chicago concentrating in Economics and Finance.

He is excited about combining his interest in German culture along with his international sales and business development experience to help grow and support the mission of the DANK Haus German American Cultural Center.
