An average American eats more than 8 pounds of pickles per year. But pickles are not just popular in the USA... Germans also like to have a pickle, or ghurkin, with their Abendbrot.  As with most foods, the best pickles are homemade! So join Frau Rita Schubert to learn the secrets of homemade refrigerator pickles--crisp, delicious
in summertime, and simple to make using only a few ingredients. Fresh cucumbers, spices, and timing are the main mix in the traditional pickling process, which Frau Rita has updated for our class at the DANK Haus. 

Class fee includes a recipe, hands-on demonstration, one drink from the bar, generous tasting, and great camaraderie.
