VIRTUAL BOOK CLUB SUPPORTING THE BOOK CELLAR OF LINCOLN SQUARE

April 23rd - Book Review

Join our book club from the comfort of your own home! Suzy from The Book Cellar has selected our first title, Olive Kitteridge.

This fictional story is set in Crosby, Maine, where the main character, Olive, a retired schoolteacher, deplores the changes in her little town and in the world at large.  As the townspeople grapple with their problems, mild and dire, Olive is brought to a deeper understanding of herself and her life—sometimes painfully, but always with ruthless honesty. Olive Kitteridge offers profound insights into the human condition—its conflicts, its tragedies and joys, and the endurance it requires.

There Is no fee to join the book club. Meetings will be held virtually through Zoom.us on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, until we can meet in real life.

You may already have the book in your collection, or if you need a copy, you can purchase it online from our local bookstore, The Book Cellar. All books will be shipped in two to three business days.

PLEASE register for this class so you can receive the link for the virtual meeting. You may also email us at lauraengel@dankhaus.com
