Sign up today for our virtual cooking class with Chef Shelley Young and $5.00 will go directly to The Chopping Block, located in Lincoln Square. Businesses and their employees, nationwide have been directly impacted by the forced closings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of you would like to help - and ensure - that our cherished neighborhood establishments remain strong and open long after this crisis has ended and here's how you can help, no matter where you are!

We are offering a virtual cooking class with Shelley Young, the owner of The Chopping Block! She will be preparing their signature apple pie, the same scrumptious pie served at Apple Fest in Lincoln Square. The course is approximately 35 minutes long and after the demonstration, students will be able to ask Shelley questions.

How will it work? When you register for the class ($10 per person), you will receive an email confirmation from our system. On the day of the event, Sunday morning, you will receive a second email from (dank@dankhaus.com) that will have a link for the class and a copy of the recipe so you can follow along. In the second email you will have detailed instructions on how to download Zoom.us and tips on making the most of the class. 

Prior to taking the class, you will want to download Zoom.us on your computer or smart phone. This application is free and takes about one minute. We will even help you if are having trouble using the program.

The class will start EXACTLY at 12:00 Noon (CST) on Sunday April 19, 2020. Simply click on the link, join the class and watch Shelley cook! You will be able to see other people on the call and even ask Shelley questions at the end of the class. 

$5.00 will go to support The Chopping Block and $5.00 will go to support the DANK Haus.

Many of the students from the our other virtual classes asked if they could pay MORE for the class. For any of you that wish to pay more we have a $20 registration option that will DOUBLE your donation! Danke!
