"Urban Life / Social Fabric" Opening Reception

Please join us for our first in-building gallery event of Phase 4! The Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists' juried show features the works of elder artists who express themes of urban local life in Chicago. All visitors, including the artists, must register to attend. Register for free for one of our two sessions, which will each be capped at 30 people.

• The 5:00-6:00 session will be a preview
• The 6:30–8:00 session will include the announcement of winners

This event will be in the 4th floor Scharpenberg Gallery.  After the reception, the exhibition will be open (by appointment) through August 21.

We encourage you to donate to our nonprofit gallery as we recover from the COVID-19 aftermath. You can donate now or on the 24th using our convenient QR code which your phone can scan. We will also accept cash, though no change can be given for health reasons. Thank you for your support!

Important:

• All guests must RSVP to attend the opening reception. You may register up to 2 people total per registration.
• Only 30 people are allowed in the gallery at a time. In keeping with this regulation, guests may be asked to wait outside or in the lobby before visiting the exhibition. We will try to enforce this with as much fairness as possible. 
• All guests over the age of 2 must have their own mask to wear while inside the building. In keeping with this regulation, we will not be serving refreshments at this particular event.
• If you are feeling sick, please do not visit. We are making all efforts to keep our entire community healthy and happy.
