Join us online on March 2nd at 6:00 PM CST for an online cooking class with Chef Hans of The Chopping Block!
We are offering a virtual cooking class with Hans Mooser from The Chopping Block! He will be preparing Beef Rouladen with Shupfnudeln. The course is about one hour long, and students will be able to ask Chef Hans questions throughout the demonstration. Students are welcome to cook along in real time as he shows you how to make traditional German fare via a Zoom Cook Along.
How will it work? When you register for the class ($10 per person), you will receive an email confirmation from our system. The day before the event, Monday, you will receive a second email from (email@example.com) that will have a link for the class and a copy of the recipe so you can follow along.
We recommend that you download Zoom prior to attending this class.
The class will start promptly at 6:00 PM (CST) on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Simply click on the link, join the class and watch Hans cook! You will be able to see other people on the call and even ask Hans questions at the end of the class.
Want to cook along? Ingredients include:2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
1 medium-size onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard
1 1/2 pounds flank steak
4 slices bacon
2 pickle wedges
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup red wine
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup beef stock
Salt and pepper to taste
