The BUS-eum you see above is a moving history museum, coming to the front steps of the DANK Haus this July! Created by Dr. Michael Luick-Thrams and his project TRACES/Spuren, this converted school bus is now chock-full of historical information under the title "Hidden or Forbidden No More: Prequels to the Greatest Generation." From the anti-German hysteria of WWI through the 1918 flu pandemic and Prohibition to the civil unrest during the Great Depression, the TRACES BUS-eum tour features the stories of the Greatest Generation. These stories bring to light subchapters of the U.S. involvement in World Wars I and II. The BUS-eum will be here for two days, and there will be special presentations! See below for the schedule. This programming is free to guests, and no RSVP is required.
