ONLINE Current Events - Fall 2021

Class Description: During this 6 week online class you can take your German to the next level. We will talk, listen to, watch, and read about current events happening in German speaking countries. The topics might range from sports to local elections, or from the arts to economics. And while the focus is on current events, the inherent grammar and vocabulary of the studied sources will also be discussed.

Class Structure: Students will have the opportunity to talk to their teacher and their classmates in 90 minute online sessions and practice their German in break-out rooms.

Online Meeting Times: Mondays, 6:30-8p CST

Materials: Your instructor will provide the required materials.

Prerequisites: This class is tailored to students who are currently enrolled in Beginner IV and up (or the equivalent of CEFR level A2+). Please take our placement test to see if this class is right for you.

Minimum Enrollment: 6 Students
