The Pretzel Blitz is back!
We are hosting 4 pretzel making classes in October. Why? We LOVE pretzels! These pretzel-making classes will beoffered in-person. We will host up to 25 students in our industrial kitchen at the DANK Haus. These 25 students will get hands on training from Reinhard Richter, our resident Pretzel Meister, and take home their homemade pretzels at the end of the class.
We have 4 classes to choose from. We have also added one class that will be taught entirely in German (October 29th)! All students will get the recipe and be able to communicate directly with our chef.
Class offered on the following dates:
- Thursday, October 21 @ 5:30 PM
- Friday, October 22nd @ 5:30 PM
- Thursday, October 28th @ 5:30 PM
- Friday, October 29th @ 5:30 PM - Taught in German!
Fee: Members: $25 | Non-Members: $30
What to expect? Students will be required to wear face masks. Students will receive one free beverage of choice and will take home freshly baked pretzels. Class time estimated 3 hours.
Please Note: Attendance is limited, so be sure to register early to ensure a spot. The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is requiring that everyone age two or older, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks in public indoor settings, effective Friday, August 20, 2021. Masking remains optional in outdoor settings, where the risk of COVID-19 transmission is lower, though masks are recommended for unvaccinated individuals in crowded outdoor settings. Please be sure to wear your mask whenever you are indoors at the DANK Haus. If we work together to protect one another, we can slow the spread of COVID-19.
