Join us in February for a Kulturküche guaranteed to add some sugar and sweetness to your life! Baker in Chief with Zimt Bakery, Alina Tompert, will show us how to decorate cookies like a pro! A fun and interactive activity for you and your Valentine or Galentines alike! 

You will be baking and decorating Zimt's mouth watering namesake Cinnamon cookies with a rainbow of glazes, naturally colored with superfood powders. Alina will be demonstrating a variety of decoration techniques for you to try, including flooding, lettering, marbling, and feathering. (You’ll decorate and speak like a pro after this class!) For extra sparkle and pizzaz, bring your own cookie cutters and sprinkles to add a personal touch to your creations. 

Included with your ticket is a drink of your choice from the bar (beer, wine, or soft drinks).

On December 21, 2021 the City of Chicago announced Public Health Order No. 2021-2. Effective January 3rd, 2022 any individual 5 years of age or older must show proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to dine indoors, visit gyms, or entertainment venues where food or drink are being served.

The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is requiring that everyone age two or older, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks in public indoor settings, effective Friday, August 20, 2021. Masking remains optional in outdoor settings, where the risk of COVID-19 transmission is lower, though masks are recommended for unvaccinated individuals in crowded outdoor settings. Please be sure to wear your mask whenever you are indoors at the DANK Haus. If we work together to protect one another, we can slow the spread of COVID-19.
