We are so excited to offer an in-person cooking class with Lincoln Square's own Chef Carol Himmel of Himmel's restaurant! She will be teaching students how to make Rahm Schnitzel, a delectable pork tenderloin in a mushroom cream gravy and one of the restaurant's most popular dishes!  

Have you ever wondered the best way to brown meat or the just the right combination of seasoning to give a meal that authentic Bavarian taste? Pull up a chair, relax and enjoy a drink on us while you watch and learn. 

You'll get practical instructions while discovering the secrets behind one of Germany’s most popular meals. Come experience the warmth of the kitchen, share the camaraderie of a community, and receive helpful tips from the master herself. You’ll want to teach your family everything you learn! 

Carol has been dishing up scrumptious, homemade meals at her family's neighborhood restaurant, Himmel's, for years. Rahm Schnitzel is one of the meals Carol learned to make by watching her mother after the family moved from Germany to Chicago. So whether you're interested in German cuisine or simply enjoy toying in the kitchen, you must add this event to your calendar.
