Willkommen to our German Spring Classes 2023!

Class Description

Werde mit uns zur Leseratte! This class is meant for those students who have finished the Beginner III (or equivalent), and meets up at the DANK Haus every Monday for a 6-week-period. The inherent grammar and vocabulary as well as the emerging motives of the book will be discussed.

These 90-minute sessions will help with your advancement of German language proficiency even further. This class is tailored for students of the Beginner IV level and above.

This class runs for 1 hours 30 minutes and covers CEFR Level A2.2.

Meeting TImes

This class meets every Monday, Mar 20 - Apr 24, from 6.30 - 8.00pm at the DANK 3rd floor.

Interested in learning more about the German grammar? We are offering an in person Grammar Session I and Grammar Session II this spring semester.

PREREQUISITES

You have a basic knowledge of German or have completed the Beginner III class? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test or contact us at languageschool@dankhaus.com.

Price

The cost of this class is $108 for members of the DANK Haus and $133 for non-members.

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on or after Monday, Mar 6th, 2023. 

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 6 students in order for this class to come together. You will receive a confirmation email about this once that minimum is met. In case of insufficient enrollment, we may merge this course with the virtual course.

What are we reading about? Die Kurzgeschichten dieser Ausgabe sind dem Sammelband "Lange Schatten" entnommen. Die Geschichten bewegen sich alle im Spannungsfeld zwischen dem Alltäglicen und dem Dämonisch-Unheimlichen und stehen unter dem Einfluss nicht zu erklärender Mächte.

This book includes four short stories and it is part of the Easy Readers series. The Easy Readers make books like this one more accessible for German language lovers. They are shortened and simplified from their original.
