Class Description

Willkommen to our very special book club event!In this short series, we will read and discuss the book "Am kürzeren Ende der Sonnenallee" (copies provided), watch the film "Sonnenallee", and meet the author, too!

This class is meant for those students who have finished the Beginner IV (or equivalent), and meets up at the DANK Haus every Friday for a 4-week-period. The inherent grammar and vocabulary as well as the emerging motives of the book will be discussed.

This class runs for 2 hours 15 minutes and covers CEFR Level B1+.

Meeting TImes

This class meets every Friday from March 24 - April 14th, from 6.30 - 8.45pm at the DANK 3rd floor.

• March 24 & 31: Book Reading and Discussion
• April 7th: Film Screening
• April 14th: Meet the Author
  

PREREQUISITES

You have a good knowledge of German or have completed the Beginner IV class? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test or contact us at languageschool@dankhaus.com.

Price

The cost of this class is $15 for members of the DANK Haus and $20 for non-members.

The Book, the film screening, and meeting the author is included in the price.

Please pick up your copy BEFORE the first day of class. Your instructor will contact you with more details about your first reading assignment for the first class.
