BEginner iI

Willkommen to our Summer Classes 2023! While the sun tickles your endorphines out of their shell, learning German will enhance your mood even further. Dive into the rich German culture and the quirky little ins and outs that this language provides.

Class Description

Learn German within the comfort of our Haus! This class is meant for students who have completed our Beginner I class (or equivalent) and meets up at the DANK Haus every Monday for a 14-week-period. By the end of the class you will be able to hold a simple conversation, and have an understanding of basic grammar.

This class runs for 2:15 hours and covers CEFR Level A1.2. You will be able to continue with Beginner II in the spring after completion of this class.

Meeting UP

The in-person class meets every Monday, May 8 - Aug 7, from 6:30 - 8:45pm at the DANK 3rd floor. 

This class has switched to Wednesday. For the remainder of the semester this class will meet on Wednesdays, May 17 - Aug 9, 6:30-8:45pm.

PREREQUISITES

No prior knowledge of German? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test or contact us at languageschool@dankhaus.com.

Price

The cost of this class is $378 for friends of the DANK Haus and $403 for all others. If you're interested to become a friend of ours, click here!

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on or after April 24, 2023.

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 6 students in order for this class to come together. In case of insufficient enrollment, we may merge this course with the virtual course.
