Willkommen to the 2023/24 school year at the Kinderschule!

class description

In this 90 minute class students finesse their German skills. This class is designed for those who have a good basis of German, and for intermediate learners. The class will focus on conversation skills where students can hone their free speaking skills, their vocabulary, and their cultural knowledge about German speaking countries, and will also fine-tune students reading, writing, and grammar proficiencies.

We highly recommend taking any of these classes in conjunction with our Saturday program, however, these classes may also be taken on their own.

Meeting times

Classes meet in-person, Wednesdays, 4:30-6pm at the DANK Haus. We have two sessions, meeting 9 times each session:

• Session I: December, January, February
  
• Session II: March, April, May

You can sign up for one or both of these classes during the registration process.

Class placement

These classes are recommend for students ages 12 and up, who have a good knowledge of German (CEFR Level A2 or B1). Please contact us at kinderschule@dankhaus.com if you are not sure of your child's level.

Price

Each session has 9 meeting dates and each session costs $128.

Sign-up fee

There is no sign- up fee. Once you have signed up we will send you an invoice. There will be a  $25 surcharge, if you pay less than two (2) weeks before the start of sessions (so, for Session I, if you pay after Nov. 21, 2023, and for Session II if you pay after February 20th, 2024).
