Are you ready for an early start into summer classes? Dive into the rich German culture and the quirky little ins and outs that this language provides by joining our conversation class.

Class Description

This in-person class is meant for learners of German on the advanced intermediate and proficient level who are eager to test those skills out in a real conversational setting. You meet every Monday for 6 weeks. Through interactive discussion, engaging activities and authentic language practice, students will expand their vocabulary and enhance their ability to explore themselves fluently and confidently in German. We will talk, listen to, watch, and read about a variety of topics, ranging from sports to politics, and from the arts to economics.

These 1.5 hour sessions will help with your advancement of German language proficiency. This class is tailored for students of the Intermediate level and up (CEFR C1+).

Meeting Times & Materials

The class meets in-person, Mondays, May 13 - June 17 (6 sessions) from 6:30pm - 8pm. Class material will be provided by the teacher.

PREREQUISITES

You have a proficient knowledge of German and are on a B2 or C1 level? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test.

Cost

The cost of this class is $113 for friends of the DANK Haus and $138 for all others. If you're interested to become a friend of ours, click here!

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on/after April 29th, 2024.

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 6 students in order for this class to come together.
