Advanced Intermediate

Willkommen to our German Spring Classes 2025!

Class Description

Learn German from wherever you are! This virtual class is meant for students who have completed another Intermediate class before (or equivalent). Our Intermediate classes covers a wide range of topics and we recommend taking these classes for 2-4 semesters until moving on to the proficient level.

This class meets on Mondays via Zoom for a 16-week-period. By the end of the class you will be able to hold complex conversations covering topics from a wide variety of themes, and understand and use most grammar.

Each session runs for 90min and covers CEFR Level B2 You can take another Intermediate classes in the summer or fall after successful completion of this class, or move on to the proficient classes. Please ask your teacher for recommendations if you are not sure.

This class will meet Mondays, Jan 6 - Apr 30, 2025 from 6.30 - 8.00pm

Achtung: No class on March 31 (Spring Break).

PREREQUISITES

You have an advanced knowledge of German or have completed an intermediate class? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test or contact us at languageschool@dankhaus.com.

Price

The cost of this class is $300 for members of the DANK Haus and $325 for non-members.

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on or after Dec 23, 2024.

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 6 students in order for this class to come together. You will receive a confirmation email about this once that minimum is met.

Material

This class uses Weitblick B2.1 - Kurs- und Übungsbuch from Cornelsen. This book can be purchased here.
