An Acting & Language workshop

Willkommen to our German Summer Classes 2025!

Class Description

Improve your German speaking skills through the art of theater! This interactive workshop combines acting exercises, role-playing, and scene work to help you build confidence, improve pronunciation, and expand your vocabulary in a fun and creative environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, you’ll develop fluency while exploring German culture and expression on stage. Why acting? Acting encourages risk-taking, which is crucial for language learning. We want you to feel comfortable making mistakes in a supportive environment. No prior acting experience required—just a willingness to play, speak, and immerse yourself in the language! This class is meant for Beginners on the A2 level, intermediate as well as proficient learners, and meets up at the DANK Haus every Monday from July 7th- Aug 4th.

Meeting TImes

This in-person class meets every Monday, July 7 - August 4, from 6.30 - 8.00pm at the DANK 3rd floor.

PREREQUISITES

Are you on the A2, intermediate or proficient level? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test or contact us at languageschool@dankhaus.com.

Price - single classes and Mix & Match

The cost for a single class is $150 for members of the DANK Haus and $175 for non-members. If you're interested in becoming a friend of ours, click here!

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on or after June 23, 2025.

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 6 students in order for this class to come together. You will receive a confirmation email about this once that minimum is met. In case of insufficient enrollment, we may merge this course with the virtual course.
