Willkommen to the 2025/26 school year at the Kinderschule!
class description
Krabbelgruppe is a fun and playful get together for children around ages 1-3, accompanied by their parent(s) or caregivers, where German songs, rhymes and games are played as an introduction to, or re-inforcement of, German language learning. Through these songs and games, our youngest learners will not only become adept at the German language, but will also be introduced to the culture itself, and become part of our community.
To make sure all toddlers have space, we ask that only one parent accompanies the child - we invite all parents who are not in the class to join us for parent cafe (we usually meet on the 6th floor for coffee and tea and a gemütliches get-together).
Meeting times
We offer three sessions every School Saturday (see our Calendar here), each session is 45 minutes long.
Price
Our school year has 32 sessions, and the whole year costs $335 for friends of the DANK Haus (become a friend here!). Generally, if you are signing up more than one child, especially beyond the Krabbelgruppe, the family friend option pays for itself and you will be able to take advantage of all our special offers for our friends throughout the year. For the general public the cost for Krabbelgruppe is $352/school year.
ACHTUNG! EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: If you sign up between May 1st and May 31st, the friends of DANK Haus price is $327 and the price for the general public is $343.
Sign-up fee
Sign up is free, we will send you an invoice after you have signed up.
Early Bird Pricing runs May 1 - May 31st, 2025.
Regular pricing runs June 1st - July 14th. If you sign up after July 15th, there is a $25 surcharge, if you sign up after August 15th, there is a $50 surcharge.
