DANK Haus German American Cultural Center is a Not For Profit 501(c)3 organization committed to offering courses at affordable rates. In view of our not-for-profit status and our commitment to our instructors, we are obliged to apply the following rules:
PAYMENT
Payment is expected in full before the first class. Please contact languageschool@dankhaus.com with questions regarding payment options.
REFUND/CREDIT
Any intent to withdraw from class has to be expressed in writing. Full refunds or credits less a $50 administrative fee are available until 24 hours before your 1st class begins. If you cancel your registration 24 hours before your 2nd or 3rd class, a partial pro-rated refund or credit less the $50 administrative fee will be given. If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no refund or credit is available. No refunds or credit will be given for class sessions not attended unless for medical and family emergency at the Director's discretion. There will be no reimbursement for absences or materials.
CANCELLATION
The number of students attending determines the number and levels of classes offered. Prior to the start of the semester, the DANK Haus reserves the right to cancel a class if the enrollment is insufficient. Should your class be cancelled you will be notified. Tuition payments are then refunded in full or - if preferred - full credits will be transferred to the following session.
SCHOOL PREMISES
Smoking, alcohol and alcohol consumption is prohibited on school premises. Students are allowed on school grounds only during class.
LATE PICK UP FEES Please be courteous to our teachers and pick up your child on time. Classes end as followed:
Half Day Preschool: 12:00pm
Full Day Preschool and Kindergarten: 3:00pm
Saturday Morning Classes: 12:00pm
Late Pick-up Fees: Parents picking up children after the assigned pick up time will be charged according to the Handbook, per child with no cap. Late fees are payable in cash to the closing teacher upon pick up or will be charged to the next invoice. Unpaid late pick up fees will be billed to the child's guardian.
DANK HAUS MEDIA RELEASE CONSENT
By registering for class, I grant the DANK Haus permission to photograph or video my or my child’s participation in DANK Haus education programs. I also grant the DANK Haus permission to use my or my child’s likeness in a promotional capacity including but not limited to print materials, web site, print, online or out of home media and other medium now or later developed. You can opt our of this by contacting us at kinderschule@dankhaus.com. BY REGISTERING FOR A CLASS STUDENTS ACCEPT THE ABOVE POLICIES AND ALL POLICIES AS OUTLINED IN THE CURRENT PARENT HANDBOOK AND WAIVERS. |
