What is this?

We are proud to have received our accreditation from the ÖSD  as one of their very few testing centers in the US! We are now certified to test German on the levels A1, A2, B1 & B2 (C1 and C2 coming soon) - corresponding to our own Beginner I - IV and Intermediate classes. With a ÖSD certificate you prove your German proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which is the internationally recognized standard of language skill recognition.

You can use this for citizenship requirements, university requirement, or just to prove your skills!

How do I take the test?

The test is comprised of two parts: One part is writing, listening, and reading. The other one is speaking. To familiarize yourself with this format we recommend to take part in our workshop (Spring: A1 and A2: Feb 20, 2024 at 7p-8pm: B1 and B2: Feb 27, 2024 at 7-8:30pm online; Fall: A1 and A2: Oct 22, 2024 7-8pm; B1 and B2: Oct 29, 2024 at 7-8:30pm online).
