New Intermediate

Willkommen to our German Fall Classes 2024!

Class Description

Learn German from wherever you are! This virtual class is meant for students who have completed our Beginner IV class (or equivalent). Our New Intermediate class covers a wide range of topics and we recommend taking this class and the advanced intermediate class for a total of 2-4 semesters until moving on to the proficient level.

This class meets on Mondays via Zoom for a 16-week-period. By the end of the class you will be able to hold complex conversations covering topics from a wide variety of themes, and understand and use most grammar.

Each session runs for 90min and covers CEFR Level B1. You are welcome to take another Intermediate classes in the spring after successful completion of this class, or move on to the proficient classes. Please ask your teacher for recommendations if you are not sure.

Meeting TImes

This class will meet Mondays, August 19 - December 9, 2024 from 6.30 - 8.00pm

Achtung: There is no class on September 2 (Labor Day), there will be a make-up day on September 3. There is no class on November 25 (Thanksgiving Break).

You will receive the Zoom Link & Google Classroom code as well as other information once the start of the class approaches.

PREREQUISITES

You have an advanced knowledge of German or have completed an intermediate class? Perfect - You're good to go! If in doubt, please refer to the Placement Test or contact us at languageschool@dankhaus.com.

Price

The cost of this class is $300 for members of the DANK Haus and $325 for non-members.

A late fee of $30 will be added to the respective price for any registrants enrolling on or after August 5, 2024.

Minimum Enrollment

There need to be at least 6 students in order for this class to come together. You will receive a confirmation email about this once that minimum is met.
